DAY FIVE: TRAVEL TO PARIS

 After breakfast, the morning hours are yours to get in that last-minute shopping or sightseeing.

 This afternoon you will travel to Waterloo Station to board the Eurostar for your first-class journey through The Chunnel to Paris. Wait a minute. Haven't you seen that conductor someplace before?

 Dinner is served on board the train which, designed for comfort, reaches speeds of up to186 mph (300 kph) during the high-speed rail section of the journey underneath the English Channel.

 Upon arrival in Paris, you will be transferred to the deluxe Le Grand Inter-Continental Hotel.

 The evening hours are free to unpack, and relax in this, one of the world's finest hotels. Or, if you're up to it, pretend that your Hercule Poirot and interrogate one of your leading suspects. After all, the plot is bound to have thickened.

DAY SIX: PARIS

 After a full American breakfast, since you are in one of the most engaging cities in the world, the morning and afternoon hours are free for you to explore the sights and sounds of Paris.

 This evening experience the famous Lido de Paris. Enjoy the breathtaking show and dinner as the mystery continues. Is that a clue tucked inside that g-string?

DAY SEVEN: PARIS/ORIENT EXPRESS

 Partake in another American breakfast before setting out for a free day of sightseeing or shopping. Perhaps you might consider a visit to the famous Paris Opera House, or check out the Rue Morgue!

 This evening you will transfer to the Paris train station to board the Venice-Simplon Orient Express to Venice.

 A formal black-tie dinner is served on board the Orient Express this evening and you are one of the special guests.

 Late, enjoy the bar car and a toast to Agatha Christie as the train makes its way through the inky darkness, bound for Switzerland and then Venice!

 Enjoy the magnificent scenery of Switzerland.

 Or simply relax in your richly appointed stateroom.
